Jim Ward, CEO
Jim Ward earned the privilege of being a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) due to wounds received in the then Republic of Vietnam. Jim was medically retired from the United States Marine Corps in 1970 as a Sergeant, and is rated 100% disabled, combat related. Semper Fidelis.
Upon receiving an Honorable Discharge, Jim began work in the construction industry as a way of physical rehabilitation. After specializing in several trades, Jim was licensed as a B-2 General Contractor with subclassifications of C-3 Carpentry, C-4 Painting/Drywall, C-5 Concrete, C-18 Masonry and C-25 Fencing.
As a result of multi-faceted licensing, Jim earned contracts on significant projects, including the Nevada Test Site with Bechtel as the Prime, lead contractor on the North Las Vegas, NV VA Hospital with Clark Construction as the Prime, and various projects with Raytheon at Nellis AFB. Bruce Woodbury, General Counsel
Bruce L. Woodbury is a partner in the law firm of Woodbury Law. The law firm has offices in Boulder City and Henderson Nevada, and practices in nearly all areas of law. Bruce concentrates his practice on estate planning and probate, as well as personal injury, business law and real estate transactions.
Bruce graduated from Las Vegas High School in 1962 and attended the University of Utah, where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa and Magna Cum Laude. He then attended Stanford School of Law, where he earned his Doctor of Jurisprudence and was a member of the Board of Editors of the Stanford Law Review.
Bruce Woodbury is a native Las Vegan who was selected in 1981 to serve on the Clark County Commission. Bruce served on the County Commission longer than anyone in the history of the State of Nevada (1981 - 2009). He was the leader over the years in transportation, flood control and air quality improvement programs for Southern Nevada, and he proposed the County's Taxpayer Bill of Rights. Bruce was the first Chairman of the Regional Flood Control District Board, the Southern Nevada Regional Planning Coalition and the Clark County Air Quality Management Board. He also served as Chairman of the Regional Transportation Commission for 18 years.
Citizens and elected officials throughout Clark County have named the 1-215 Beltway, the post office in Boulder City and streets in Laughlin, Moapa Valley and Mesquite for Bruce Woodbury. Best of all, his grandson, Brucie, is named for him. He and his wife, Rose, who have resided in Boulder City since 1978, have seven children, 27 grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren.
Paul Hoyt, CFO
Paul Hoyt has over 60 years of business experience and has been a Business Consultant, Business Coach, and Fractional CFO for the past 24 years. He has worked with hundreds of business owners and trained thousands more across many industries, and from startups to $30 million USD in annual revenues.
After a 30-year career in Information systems, serving in the roles of Programmer, Systems Analyst, Team Leader, Database Administrator, CIO, VP of Professional Services, Enterprise Project Manager, and Business Owner, Paul became a Business Consultant in 2001, leveraging his broad experience in many industries and all departments within companies large and small.
His passion is in helping companies implement business planning and goal achievement systems that conserve precious resources, increase operational efficiency, accelerate growth, and increase financial performance.
Paul resides in Santa Clara, CA with Sherry, his wife of 50 years. He has two sons, both of whom graduated from Stanford University, and one granddaughter. Paul is the author of two business books: The Foundation Factor (2004, 2024), and The Capital Coaching Program (2010, 2024) and has over 130 hours of training videos on his website. He is also a passionate Personal Coach and inspirational speaker, and has published seven inspirational works.
